The guest country at this year’s event is Colombia. The programme of films aims to foster a dialogue between the various perspectives that cinema brings to light on the complex subject of peace. Even ten years after the signing of the 2016 peace agreement between the Colombian state and the former guerilla group FARC-EP, the armed conflict continues and features prominently in images and everyday narratives. A selection of independent and community-based film productions offers a different perspective on this South American country situated between the Pacific, the Caribbean and the Amazon Basin. Between screenings, there will be an opportunity to chat with the filmmakers and other guests. (In Spanish and German)
