“Bases“ is Spanish pianist Willy Haroun’s new project. After completing his classical and jazz training at some of Switzerland's most prestigious universities, Willy Haroun is launching a solo project in which he combines classical music with jazz and improvisation through personal arrangements and compositions inspired by the great masters.
His sound, emotion, mastery and creativity are Willy Haroun’s trademarks. He seeks to interact with the music he performs and with the musicians and composers who inspire him, through a very personal interpretation based on a conscientious study of the original texts and their language. His repertoire is characterised by its eclecticism. It includes classical music, jazz with Latin American influences, contemporary music and popular music, as well as his own compositions and improvisations.
Haroun is currently on tour with his new project, “Bases“, with which he regularly appears in Europe.
