As a special tribute to the Estonian composer, the renowned Estonian choir Vox Clamantis, conducted by Jaan-Eik Tulve, will dedicate an Arvo Pärt Night to the work of the great master of spiritual music in spring 2027.
The Grammy Award-winning vocal ensemble is renowned for its clear yet warm sound. For more than 25 years now, Vox Clamantis has maintained a close artistic collaboration with Pärt – a partnership that has resulted in numerous acclaimed recordings. To mark Pärt’s 90th birthday, the choir released their 2025 album And I heard a voice, which features recent works by Pärt and vividly demonstrates this close connection. In its review of the Album, the BBC Music Magazine wrote that “the level of artistry necessary to achieve the kind of living, breathing performance given here by Vox Clamantis is a rarity”. His meditative musical language can now be experienced live at the Isarphilharmonie in all its spiritual intensity.
