In celebration of their 40th anniversary, Alphaville are presenting their greatest hits on a symphonic scale. More than just a compilation of Alphaville classics re-scored for large orchestra, their new album “Eternally Yours” (Edel Neue Meister), is a symbiosis between Marian Gold’s unique vocal abilities, the genuine Alphaville sound and the multi-faceted, majestic power of the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg.

“To my ears, Eternally Yours sounds like it was actually the first Alphaville album, except that it wasn’t released forty years ago. We just didn’t have an orchestra at the time. All of the 23 tracks have gained in clarity through the editing process; they have been unveiled, unfettered and liberated to reveal their true nature.”
