Forty groups, choirs and soloists take us on a unique, exciting journey through the diverse world of music – a truly special day for everyone.
Organised by the Department of Arts and Culture of the City of Munich, the 18th Amateur Music Day will make the Gasteig HP8 resound with music. There will performances on no fewer than four stages, spanning all genres and continents: music loud and music gentle, from solo pieces to entire choirs, from Asia to Bulgaria to Bavaria, from classical to modern. Munich is home to a vast trove of amateur musicians with an equally huge range of skills and talents.
Expect a day of encounters, inspiration, listening, participating and, above all, enjoying music to the full.
