It has been 110 years since the Munich police moved into their office building in Ettstraße. It is using this anniversary to draw attention to the police’s prevention work and to the emergency call number 110. A special highlight of the campaign is a benefit concert by the Bavarian Police Orchestra.

It has been 110 years since the Munich police moved into their office building in Ettstraße. It is using this anniversary to draw attention to the police’s prevention work and to the emergency call number 110. A special highlight of the campaign is a benefit concert by the Bavarian Police Orchestra.

The anniversary concert of the Bavarian Police Orchestra conducted by Prof. Johann Mösenbichler, Musical Director of the Bavarian Police, will take place under the patronage of Minister of State Joachim Herrmann and Mayor Dieter Reiter.

The proceeds will go to the AETAS Kinderstiftung children’s foundation, which supports children, young people and caregivers after traumatic life events, such as traumatic deaths, homicides, missing persons and being eyewitness of distressing events. The foundation provides professional child crisis intervention that deserves the support of all of us.

The extensive supporting programme on current policing-related topics focuses on prevention work and begins at 5 PM.
